Installation Techniques

Installation techniques

There’s 2 modes of Installation techniques are available.
      1.     Administrator mode
      2.     User Robot Mode

Generally, UI Path allows user to install entire UI Path suite. But UI Path Orchestrator component isn’t displayed if

ü  You don’t launch Installer (.msi) as an administrator

ü  IIS7+ not available in your machine.

Administrator mode
In this mode, Installer allows you to install all 3 products (UI Studio, UI Robot & UI Orchestrator). By default, all advanced features, UI Studio, UI Robot (some features) installed automatically. ‘UI Orchestrator’ it is disabled by default.

If you want to install, enable and choose a value from list and continues the Installation.

By default, UI Path Robot some features (Like Java Bridge, Activities feed) & UI Orchestrator disabled, as per user requirements you’ve to enable them and go ahead with installation.

User mode
In this, Installer (.exe) enables you to install studio and other advanced options are already configured. Here no admin permissions required.
